The success of the pilot system tested in the showroom in Varese determined the lighting system to be used in all showrooms of the "Frette" chain: fixtures built into the ceiling, inserted into the architecture, equipped with fluorescent lamps which, together with halogen bulbs, produced general lighting in the spaces and cast direct lighting onto the display racks. High luminance levels were thus obtained on both the vertical and horizontal planes, with a subtle dark/light contrast. The presence of several "furnishing" lamps marked the intended use of the merchandise: private, to serve, to embellish or to give color to our homes.
