A high-performance regatta boat made entirely of carbon fibre, the Mandrake was designed by German Fres and Gae Aulenti, and built in Italy by Adriasail. At less than 20 meters in length, the boat is relatively small, with an internal height of just 1.98 metres in the central part and 1.60 metres in the seating area. The lighting project provides indirect lighting using a system of LED light sources built into the bamboo paneling and concealed from view. The system has been combined with adjustable bracket lamps for the chartwork zone and for the reading areas in the master cabin.
