The Grand Council Chamber is located on the first floor of the Hôtel Cantonal, a 16th-century building originally designated to the grain market, and is the headquarters of the Grand Cantonal Council. The new lighting project prescribed by the need to reduce energy consumption led to the creation of tailor-made LED projector devices with controlled optics. Installed on the existing cornice encircling the chamber, they ensure all the standards (visual comfort, illuminance levels) required by current legislation are met and allow normal activities to be carried out. A specific fixture placed on the central table of the council hall illuminates the fresco above.
